Forty-one men and women, ranging in age from their 20s to 80s, participated in the event, which included bone density measurement (osteoporosis), transcutaneous hemoglobin measurement (anemia), body composition, and blood pressure measurement. We worked with a woman who had a history of rheumatism. She mentioned that she was taking 5mg of steroids, but she was hesitant about taking more because of the potential side effects. She also told us she was worried about the pain she would experience of she had to live alone. Another woman told us that she had recently lost her husband and was in tears, saying that she was starting to feel sad. One of the participants, who had previously had low bone density and spent a year improving her diet, was pleased that the results were so good. 41 citizens, each with different circumstances and health conditions, were pleased with the “frailty check” that was conducted on them.
