In Akashi City, the Council of Social Welfare has commissioned the “Welfare Learning Promotion Project to Promote Understanding of Mental Disorders” as one of the initiatives planned and operated by the Community Independence Support Council Living Affairs Committee.
This year, the Akashi City Council of Social Welfare and the University\'s Psychiatric & Mental Health Nursing jointly created educational materials (two versions, one for children and the other for adults), which are being refined and disseminated to local residents for educational activities.
The photo shows a welfare learning session held on October 29, 2022.
We will continue to provide local residents with knowledge about mental health while working toward the creation of a community where people can help each other.
