On August 2 and 3, 2023, we participated as a cooperating university in this event hosted by the Himeji City Gender Equality Promotion Center. This event was designed for junior high school students in Himeji City to visit local universities and companies and to learn through hands-on experience. Through these activities they can grasp their own future vision of learning and working in science and engineering fields. On the 2nd, Associate Professor Tsuchida will lead “Let\\\'s try microscopic observation and structural analysis of metals” and Associate Professor Yamazoe will lead “Let\\\'s learn microcomputer programming and make robots move” in the School of Engineering. On the 3rd, Professor Takeo will lead “The first step in biological research: observing microorganisms and insects using optical and electron microscopes” and Associate Professor Araki will lead “Robots using ecological signals”. and “Let\\\'s move robots with ecological signals” by Associate Professor Araki on the 3rd.
