Research and Development of Reversible Fuel Cells

Aiming to establish technologies for highly efficient production, storage, and utilization of hydrogen energy, we are conducting research and development of reversible fuel cells that can generate hydrogen from renewable energy sources and use hydrogen to generate electricity when electricity is needed. In particular, we are focusing on ceramic-type fuel cells called solid oxide cells, and are working to improve energy conversion efficiency through the development of new functional materials.
