Planaria is widely known as an organism with extremely high regenerative capacity through the utilization of differentiated pluripotent stem cells. In humans, the organ stem cell system is also essential for maintaining homeostasis, and its failure can lead to various diseases such as cancer. Our goal is to gain a deeper understanding of the planarian stem cell system and to contribute to the maintenance of human health in the age of 100 years of life.
