Have you ever heard the term “resilience”? Resilience refers to the ability of a system to recover from disturbance and is used in a variety of fields. My research focuses on the mechanisms and aspects of how local communities cope with and recover from disasters. I am conducting research and surveys every day with the aim of creating communities that are resilient to disasters and suitable for long-term resilience.
