Human blood contains cells that are useful for maintaining human health, such as cells that produce antibodies for use in drug discovery and cells that eliminate viruses and foreign substances.
If cells can be easily identified and isolated, the development of cells for drug discovery and treatment will be accelerated. Identifying cells requires marking and crushing, which is time-consuming and labor-intensive. Therefore, we are developing electrode devices and mechanisms to easily and quickly distinguish cells by simply rotating each cell electrically and measuring its speed.
