An academic research paper titled 'Substitutability between Older and Younger Workers and its Implications for Japan,' which was solely authored by Prof. Quoc Hung NGUYEN, has been accepted for publication by the International Journal of Manpower. The journal is indexed by Web of Science (SSCI) and A-ranked in the field of human resources and industrial relations by the Australian Business Dean Council (ABDC) Journal Quality List .

In July 2022, Dr. Saddam Khalid (Associate Professor) received an award for “Outstanding Educational Activities” as a result of his project VENTUREINNO. VENTUREINNO is a business plan competition for students focused on sharing economy - one of the fastest growing economies in the world, and CEOs of prominent companies in Hyogo served as judges for the competition.

Professor Ikuya KANO has recently returned from his sabbatical at London University; his newest research project is presented in a special issue of Critical Thinking in Social Sciences from February 2021.

Dr. Bình NGHI?M-PH? has received the Award for Special Research Achievements granted by the University of Hyogo, as well as a research grant from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology -Japan. At present, he is examining the impacts of tourism in Japan focusing on the psychological impacts of tourism in addition to other conventional aspects, such as economy, socio-culture, and environment.
