The ceremony was conducted in the Center for Global Engagement on the Kobe Campus for Commerce. Because of travel restrictions related to COVID-19, 30 students who have not yet been able to come to Japan attended the ceremony via the Internet.

The second class of the GBC students from overseas consists of 35 students from 11 countries and regions:
Vietnam, Indonesia, Taiwan, Malaysia, Thailand, China, India, Pakistan, Philippines, Romania, and Zambia.
