The mission of the School of Economics and Management is to educate and train students so that they can contribute to local communities and beyond. We aim to assist students in learning how to respond to changes in society due to globalization and innovation. Our long-term objective is that, through acquiring interdisciplinary knowledge based on economics and business administration and by enhancing analytical, problem solving, and communication abilities, our students will develop initiative and ethical principles that will enable them to bring about beneficial changes in society.
In addition to the above, our goals for the Global Business Course, in particular, are to help our students expand their learning and interests to include developing an understanding of the cultures, societies, and histories of various regions of the world in order to be instrumental in working on global public and private issues after they graduate.
