MEXT Scholarship
The Global Business Course (GBC) was re-selected as a Special Scholarship Program Recipient by the Japanese Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT). We have been chosen again for a three year program, following the end of the previous program earlier this year (2023 September enrollment).
Only a small number of universities (around four to seven) are selected every year (out of some 800 universities in Japan), with the University of Hyogo being one of the few public institutions to be selected for this program.
International students for September 2024 - September 2026 enrollment are eligible to apply (applicants may be subject to restrictions set by MEXT).
Each year, beginning in September 2024, eight students who have passed the GBC entrance examination will be selected by the university to receive this scholarship.
The criteria for selection will be announced on this website.
